Central Jersey Council of

the Navy League of the United States

On 17 February 2007 council President Richard V. Ehlert was aboard the Battleship New Jersey (BB-62) to witness the annual inspection of the councils adopted Sea Cadet unit.

Accompanying Mr. Elhert was Dan Dermer, past president and current Liaison for National Policy, Bill Aiken, VP of Military Affairs and Monty Zaks, Public Affairs Officer.

Mr. Elhert presided over the promotion to Chief of Cadet Myles and the awarding of the Theodore Roosevelt Medal which included a 1 year membership to the Navy League.

Also in attendance were Battleship New Jersey Historical Society members Walter Olkowski, Vincent Falso and Gerry Grey. Mr. Olkowski and Mr. Falso are also members of the Central Jersey Council.
